Tera Yates

Tera Yates received her law degree from the University of Calgary in 2001 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2002. Tera has always been most interested in Family Law and was instructed by Lonny Balbi, Q.C. in a third year Family Clinical course. She was also awarded the Vallance Prize in Family Law at the University of Calgary in 2001.

Tera joined the team at Balbi & Company in 2006 and is looking forward to assisting clients in their Family Law problems. She enjoys the unique challenges Family Law presents and continues to possess a passion for finding unique solutions for her clients in distress.

Tera is a member of the Family Law Section of the Alberta Bar Association and is a volunteer at Calgary Legal guidance.

Outside of practicing, Tera enjoys being active with her family, reading and travelling.
